WWII Reproduction German 5L Trinkwasser Stencil Hard Plastic Drinking Water Can

3D printed hard plastic stencil for the 5L trinkwasser can. This type of stencil produces a superior look to the normal vinyl sticker type stencils. This will give you that soft edge over spray that you see on virtually every original. The hard edges made by vinyl stencils has always bugged me a little. Plus, you only need the one to paint all four sides of your can.

Made by me (Kriegsende Militaria). There are some minor bumps or strings on the stencil (see photos) as a result of printer errors but these can be trimmed of and some might not even be an issue. The stencils are durable and reusable. You will need some additional masking material around the outside edge. It is best to mask off the can directly as this will also help you align the stencil. Just experiment a little on some scrap first, since its not a disposable sticker you can do that without fear of screwing it up.
This is made from whatever color PLA material I have on the machine when I run it. Most are silver, but you may get a white stencil, red, brown, black, etc...
Obviously, the color doesn't effect its usefulness as a stencil.
NOTE:
This is made from standard PLA and it may react to some solvents. I would avoid cleaning it until you need to and even then, it may melt depending on the solvent used.
