Luftwaffe General Officers Visor Cap (Winter Service)

Description

Luftwaffe General Officers winter dress cap.
Cap is size 59 and comes with an embroidered bullion eagle.
We produced 2 of these caps for a Publishers photoshoot on Luftwaffe Generals Ramcke of the Fallschirmjager and Galland, Inspector of Fighter aircraft. Photos are taken with Adolf Galland’s uniform.
Also used for photos of Fallschirmjager General Ramcke, whose Brigade served at El Alamein. When stuck behind enemy lines, Ramcke’s men commandeered a British supply convoy, stole their trucks and fuel, and returned to their lines. Ramcke later served as Commander of the Brest Fortress in Normandy. He was one of 28 men to be awarded the Knights Cross with OakLeaves swords and diamonds.
