Additional Information:
This sousaphone is being sold as is in non playing condition.  It has a decent body that has not been too crushed or damaged.  The lead pipe has quite a bit of damage to it as one of the braces is completely off and missing (not included).  The other brace needs to be re-soldered back onto the lead pipe. The lead pipe has been bent and twisted enough where the metal has broken. Someone has placed multiple patches on it but there is still need for more repair if it is going to be put back into playing condition again.  There is a small gooseneck included (see pics). One of the bell tightening screws and brace are both missing and not included.  We noticed when putting the instrument together that the bell tenon fits in differently than more of the mainstream sousaphones seem to fit.  It seems like it goes in much deeper than what we are use to with the standard Conns and Kings.  It does look like it belongs with this body.  We are assuming based on the build of the instrument that it is EEb as we were unable to play the instrument to confirm this.  With all of the damage on the lead pipe it was unable to be test played.  This is a horn that most certainly could be brought back to life as it is not missing major components but it could also serve very well as a parts horn or decorator piece.

Valve Information:
The first valve goes down but comes only part way back up and you have to manually lift it back up.  The third valve finger button does not match and the pearl is cracked.
Lead Pipe Condition:
Heavy general wear (substantial surface scratches and wear with medium-large dents and dings and/or
damage) There are patches on the lead pipe and as you can see in pictures there is broken metal that needs to be repaired.

The first valve tuning slide pull ring is broken off and not included.  There are patches on the lead pipe as well as broken metal that needs to be repaired.  It looks like there is a patch on the third valve tuning slide on the top part.

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
