Delicate Engraved Chinese Export Silver Sterling Bowl Peony Phoenix Antique 1880

Description

This tiny and exquisite Chinese Export silver bowl measures just 1 7/8" tall x 3 1/2" across and bears the pictured hallmarks on the bottom.  Weighing app. 2.3 troy ounces, it features a beaded top rim with deeply engraved fret border and delicate bright cut engravings of a phoenix in flight and tree peonies.  You will note dents and some wear to the designs.  The interior shows hand planishing marks and the alloy tests high in silver...at least sterling grade...and it is rather soft.
