DAK Afrikakorps Camo Size 66 M40 Helmet (Restored) German Made Heavy & Strong

Description

Beautiful DAK camo helmet (Heer SD), heavily aged in a desert finish. Authentically scratched and chipped up. It was restored from a real German made, Finnish used M40 style helmet. Collectors refer to this model as an "M55", but they are essentially identical to the M40. Some Finnish helmets have oversized air vents, but not this one. It has the correct style.
Authentic reproduction liner and chinstrap.
Helmet shows use, but is in great shape. Steel is strong and heavy.
