Description

An antique Japanese two layer paneled circular sterling silver
decorated with continuous band of flowers
and leaves on hammered textured panels, scalloped rim, circular foot, signed.
Meiji, Japan, late 19th century. Sold by Arthur & Bond in Yokohama.
Diameter: 7 1/2 inches,
Height: 5 inches,
Weight: 775 grams. Bowl is engraved on bottom commemorating an event from 1881-1906.
Condition: has several dents and damage to the exterior panel as shown in photos. One side has minimal damage and has been displayed.
