Here is a nice little Chinese Export sterling cup marked “WH” for Wang Hing & Co. of Hong Kong. The company was established in 1854 and survived until the Japanese invasion, which destroyed the firm. Most Chinese Export silver was in the Georgian fashion but Wang Hing used traditional Chinese style to create very high quality and desirable pieces. This cup has good weight and is 2 5/8 inches tall.
